Contest
Contest is open to children of South Florida studying in Middle School (6th to 8th grade) or High School (9th to 12th grade).
Contestants are required to register before the deadline at 9pm on Friday October 17, 2008 by submitting a registration form along with a registration fee of $20 per participant. Check should be made payable to "Nandi Kannada Koota of South Florida" and mailed to Nandi Kannada Koota of South Florida, 18975 Misty Lake Drive, Jupiter, Florida 33458.
Contest will be held on October 18, 2008 at 5 pm in the "Shiva Vishnu Temple of South Florida Community Hall" 5661, Dykes Road, Southwest Ranches, Florida 33331.
Three Winners First, Second and Consolation Prize will be announced in each category "Middle School Category" and "High School Category".
Concept
This is a contest to promote singing talent and stage performance among the children of South Florida. To raise their interest in Indian Language and Popular Music and to have an evening full of fun, entertainment and social interactions for families and friends.
This contest is Conducted by "Nandi Kannada Koota of South Florida" in association with "South Florida Tamil Sangam" and "Telugu Association of South Florida".
